Sobre el Tour

Escape the city for a day and embark on an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Peloponnese, where breathtaking landscapes, authentic Greek flavors, world-famous archaeological treasures, and centuries-old traditions come together in one extraordinary experience.

Leaving Athens early in the morning, we travel along one of Greece's most scenic coastal routes. Sit back, relax, and enjoy spectacular views of the Saronic Gulf as we make our way toward our first destination: a traditional family-owned cheese factory near Ancient Epidaurus.

Here, you'll discover the secrets behind some of Greece's most celebrated cheeses. Learn how local artisans have preserved traditional cheesemaking techniques for generations before indulging in your first tasting of the day. Sample a delicious selection of authentic Peloponnesian cheeses, each reflecting the unique character and rich culinary heritage of the region.

Our gastronomic journey continues with a short drive to a traditional olive mill, where one of Greece's greatest treasures awaits: extra virgin olive oil.

Although olive oil is produced during the winter harvest, an engaging presentation will guide you through every step of the production process, from the olive grove to the bottle. Afterwards, stroll through an organic olive grove and immerse yourself in the timeless landscape that has shaped Greek culture for thousands of years.

The experience culminates with a professional olive oil tasting, where you'll learn how to recognize the aromas and flavors of high-quality olive oil. Accompany your tasting with freshly baked bread, ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and homemade Greek specialties, including traditional spinach pie and cheese pie—a simple yet unforgettable meal inspired by the Greek countryside.

Having explored the authentic tastes of the Peloponnese, it's time to discover one of the greatest masterpieces of the ancient world.

Welcome to the magnificent Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, internationally acclaimed for its breathtaking architecture and extraordinary acoustics. Even today, every whisper from the center of the stage can be heard clearly from the highest seats—a remarkable achievement of ancient engineering.

As you walk through this iconic monument, imagine the timeless tragedies of Sophocles, Euripides, and Aeschylus being performed before thousands of spectators more than two millennia ago. During the summer months, the theatre continues this remarkable tradition by hosting internationally acclaimed performances as part of the renowned Epidaurus Festival.

Your visit also includes the Sanctuary of Asclepius, the sacred healing center dedicated to the God of Medicine. Considered the world's first organized medical center, this remarkable archaeological site reveals how ancient Greeks combined medicine, spirituality, and holistic healing long before the foundations of modern healthcare were established. We will spend approximately one hour exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our adventure then takes us inland to Nemea, Greece's most celebrated wine region and the birthplace of the internationally renowned Agiorgitiko grape.

Surrounded by endless vineyards, we will visit one of the area's finest wineries, where passion for winemaking has been perfected over generations. Enjoy a guided tour through the vineyards and cellars, discover the fascinating winemaking process, and conclude your visit with an exclusive wine tasting featuring carefully selected local wines, accompanied by delicious traditional delicacies from the region.

As the day draws to a close, we begin our journey back to Athens, making one final stop at one of Greece's most impressive engineering landmarks: the Corinth Canal.

Completed in the late 19th century, this spectacular canal connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, carving a dramatic passage through towering limestone cliffs. Take in the breathtaking views, capture stunning photographs, and, if timing allows, admire the golden light of the setting sun reflecting on the crystal-clear waters below.

After more than twelve unforgettable hours filled with authentic flavors, remarkable history, stunning scenery, and genuine Greek hospitality, you'll return to Athens with far more than beautiful photographs—you'll take home memories, aromas, and experiences that capture the true spirit of Greece.

This is not simply a sightseeing tour. It is a journey through the flavors, history, traditions, and timeless beauty of the Peloponnese—an experience designed to stay with you long after your holiday has ended.
